Behind the scenes…who is Aura Beauty?
Wondering who we are? Aura Beauty was founded by Lindsay Goertzen and Jeffrey Bunn, both of beautiful Kelowna BC. These two young entrepreneurs (and yes, brother and sister!), one day while playing with Lindsay’s 2 year old daughter Laura, hatched upon the idea of Aura Beauty.
Aura Beauty was born upon a problem – how to enjoy the spa with a group of friends without breaking the bank? Thus the mobile, cost-saving spa that brings together friends and family was christened Aura Beauty.
Six months into Aura Beauty, Blair and Anne Baldwin, successful entrepreneurs from Kelowna, were brought on board to help build the business and give it direction. Take a look at our stories below!
Lindsay Goertzen
Initially trained and working as a paramedic, Lindsay has always been a very caring person and truly enjoys helping those around her. A critical illness in late 2007 altered her course in life and she ended up in beautiful Kelowna.
Since her recovery, she has focused her effort on spending time with her family, camping, fitness, visiting the beach, and ensuring the success of Aura Beauty! Lindsay has also taken pride in partnering Aura Beauty up with local charities that promote women’s health and safety. Lindsay is making the world smile one tweet at a time. Jeffrey Bunn
Having graduated from nearby Okanagan College with a degree in business, and having spent a semester at Swinburne University in Melbourne, Australia studying entrepreneurship, Jeffrey was ready to put the skills he learned in school to the test. Already a strong advocate for healthy living, Jeffrey saw Aura Beauty as the perfect fit to promote health, friendship, and family. Jeffrey’s ambition is to create socially conscious businesses and travel the world.

Anne Baldwin
Anne Baldwin is local to Kelowna and has always believed in health and wellness. Aura Beauty is a natural extension of her belief that true health is only achievable when we feel beautiful on the inside and outside.
Anne’s goal is for Aura Beauty spa recipients to celebrate the beauty in all of us, to acknowledge how wonderful each of us is every day and to allow that inner & outer beauty to propel us to be the best that each of us can be.
Blair Baldwin
Blair grew up in Montreal and then attended Queens University where he received his B.A. Honours Economics degree and a scholarship to pursue his M.B.A. at the University of British Columbia. After getting his M.B.A., he worked for Air Canada and then obtained his Law degree at UBC. Blair practiced law in Vancouver and then joined Canadian Airlines International to become Director, Marketing Programs.
He then arrived in the Okanagan to become Vice President of Big White Ski Resort. In 1996, Blair started his own management consulting firm – Pinnacle Consulting – which has developed a strong reputation for strategic planning and execution. Blair is actively involved in the community through Youth Soccer and has worked on several regional boards including Tourism Kelowna, The Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association, Building Healthy Families and the YM/YWCA.
